Miscellaneous Functions and Defines
There are a couple of things that didn't quite fit in either of the two preceeding sections,
but nevertheless are very important. As mentioned before, many of the operations as
described, are really just defines for the library functions. There are other defines
that have been referred to in the previous pages, and some that were mentioned just in
the examples. These defines are more fully described here.
There are also a couple of functions that are convenient, and that are used internally
but could be of use if you wish to use them.
